Best Macaroni and Cheese with Ham

Ingredients

2 boxes of macaroni and cheese (preferably Kraft)

1 can of stewed tomatoes

1 one-pound can ham, or leftover ham, or ½ ham steak (cubed)

3 slices of American cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cook macaroni and cheese according to package directions, but slightly undercook the pasta.

  3. Add cheese, then toss in the ham.

  4. Spread mixture into a baking dish.

  5. Top evenly with stewed tomatoes.

  6. Break American cheese slices into triangles and place corner-to-corner on top.

  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until cheese is browned.
