Steps
Mix all ingredients (except cabbage) together with 1/4 can of tomato sauce.

Ingredients
1/2 lb leftover cooked pork
1 cup water
1 heaping tbsp Better Than Bouillon (beef)
Steps
1) Slice pork into 1/2-inch pancake-shaped slices; place on a foil-lined rack. Brush with Ah-So sauce and broil, turning to brown both sides. Dice and set aside.
2) In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil; add onions and celery and cook about 2 minutes. Stir in Better Than Bouillon while cooking.
3) Add cooked rice and diced pork to the pan; toss and mix thoroughly.

I prefer to use very ripe plantains to make a “sweet” mangú because they are easier to peel, take less time to cook, taste sweeter, and make it more versatile. This “sweet” mangú is often used in/on dinner casserole (or shepherds pie) type dishes like pastelón de plátano maduro.
