Ingredients
1 lb chicken; 3/4 cup apple juice; 1/4 cup soy sauce; 1/2 cup brown sugar; 2 tbsp vinegar; 1/4 tsp salt; 1/4 tsp pepper; 1 tsp minced garlic; 1/4 cup honey; 2 tbsp cornstarch (to thicken); 2 tbsp water
Preparation
1. Add chicken to crockpot. Whisk apple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic, and honey; pour over chicken.
2. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.
3. At 3 1/2 hours, mix cornstarch with water and stir into sauce. Continue cooking until thickened.
4. Serve over rice with vegetables, if desired.
