Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup peanuts
Preparation
1. Prepare a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
2. On medium-low heat, melt butter. Add sugar, corn syrup, peanuts, and vanilla.
3. Simmer on low heat for ~10 minutes, stirring continuously.
4. When thickened and turned golden, pour onto cookie sheet and spread with the back of a spoon.
5. Spread quickly and do not taste while hot (sugar can burn).
6. Let cool and break into pieces.
7. Store in a cool, dry, airtight container.
