About the Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb leftover cooked pork

1 cup water

1 heaping tbsp Better Than Bouillon (beef)

1/2 cup chopped onions (large cuts)

1/2 cup chopped celery (large cuts)

4 cups cooked rice

1/4 cup Ah-So sauce

Preparation

1) Slice pork into 1/2-inch pancake-shaped slices; place on a foil-lined rack. Brush with Ah-So sauce and broil, turning to brown both sides. Dice and set aside.

2) In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil; add onions and celery and cook about 2 minutes. Stir in Better Than Bouillon while cooking.

3) Add cooked rice and diced pork to the pan; toss and mix thoroughly.

4) Add a little more water if dry. For darker color, add a drop of Gravy Master (optional). Mix well and serve.
