Ingredients
1/2 cup butter; 1 1/2 cups sugar; 1 egg; 1 cup canned pumpkin; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 tsp cinnamon; 1 tsp vanilla; 2 1/2 cups flour; 1 tsp baking powder; 1 tsp baking soda; 1 tsp nutmeg; 1 cup chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Beat butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.
Add pumpkin and mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix salt, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and flour.
Gradually add dry mixture into wet mixture.
Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
Store with wax paper between cookies to prevent softening.
